Benjamín Juárez Echenique

Benjamín Juárez Echenique served as Dean of the College of Fine Art at Boston University from 2010-2015, where he was instrumental in the Arts Leadership Minor, and taught CFA 510: Arts Leadership Forum. He previously directed Centro Nacional de las Artes, Mexico’s national arts center, where he launched joint programs with prestigious institutions such as The Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. While Director of Cultural Activities for Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, Echenique led an international research project on Mexican cathedral music that was underwritten by UNESCO, and which received a Latin Grammy nomination. He earned a Masters of Fine Arts degree from California Institute of the Arts.
